Queen Alia International Airport achieves significant growth in passenger traffic in October 2013

Airport International Group (AIG) reported a robust 14.1% increase in passenger traffic (PAX) at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), bringing the total of passengers handled during October this year to 600,855 PAX compared to 526,584 PAX of the same month in 2012. AIG, the Jordanian company responsible for the rehabilitation, expansion and operation of QAIA, also revealed that year-to-date (YTD) passenger numbers rose by a healthy 4.05% to reach 5,570,634 PAX in comparison to 5,353,776 PAX in October 2012.
Likewise, aircraft movements (ACM) this October registered positive growth with a 6.26% increase to reach 6,078 ACM as opposed to the 5,720 ACM witnessed during the same month in 2012. Meanwhile, YTD ACM recorded a marginal 0.83% increase in October 2013, counting 57,252 ACM in comparison to 56,783 ACM over the same period of 2012.

أعلنت مجموعة المطار الدولي عن تحقيق زيادة بلغت 14.1بالمئة في أعداد المسافرين وحركة الطائرات في مطار الملكة علياء الدولي، لتصل أعداد المسافرين خلال شهر أكتوبر إلى 600,855 مسافراً، مقارنة مع 526,584 مسافراً في نفس الفترة من العام الماضي، كما كشفت المجموعة عن ارتفاع أعداد المسافرين السنوية بنسبة 4.05 بالمئة لتصل إلى 5,570,634 مسافراً، مقارنة مع 5,353,776 مسافراً خلال شهر أكتوبر 2012.
وعلى صعيد مماثل، شهدت حركة الطائرات نمواً إيجابياً بلغ 6.26 بالمئة لتصل إلى 6,078 حركة، مقارنة مع 5,720 حركة في نفس الشهر من العام الماضي، بينما سجّلت حركة الطائرات السنوية زيادة طفيفة بلغت 0.83 بالمئة خلال شهر أكتوبر 2013، لتصل إلى 57,252 حركة، مقارنة مع 56,783 حركة في نفس الفترة العام الماضي.
