The Civil Aviation Authority in Qatar and Arab Air Carries' Organization signed a memorandum of understanding regarding human resources development and preparation of the cadres (employees of the Authority) to enhance the civil aviation sector in Qatar and the industry of air transport in the Arab region and neighbors. 
The memorandum of understanding focused on the mutual cooperation between the parties to provide qualified cadres for the labor market within the sector of air transport industry and to improve the employees' basics and administration potentials. The MoU stipulated that a scheme should be developed by Regional Training Center of AACO for air transportation in coordination with the Training & Development Department of CAA, in order to organize a number of specialized training courses. In addition to some professional diplomas organized by Regional Center which shall provide curricula and scientific subjects of the programs and courses that would be agreed thereon, as well as qualified instructors to carry out such courses.
The MoU was signed by His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser Turki Al-Subaey, Chairman of CAA, and Mr. Abdul Wahab Teffaha, Secretary General of AACO, at the headquarters of CAA in Doha. On this occasion, H E/ Chairman of CAA referred to the importance of MOU in enhancing the cooperation with AACO to serve the schemes of development of the aviation sector in Qatar, and he confirmed the positive effect of MoU in upgrading the level of work and development to achieve a great productivity, the matter that being reflected positively on the performance of employees of the Authority. It is noteworthy that this special step came as a response to AACO regarding the support of the air transport industry, academies and training institutions that serve such sector in the Arab region.
