The number of passengers at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) has received more than 425,000 passengers, recording an increase by 22% during February 2012 compared to same month of previous year, as reported by Jordan’s news agency (Petra).
According to Airport International Group (the company responsible for rehabilitating, operating, and expanding QAIA), results show that the aircraft movement increased by 9%, recording 4,700 movements. The Group highlighted in a press statement that the cargo volume reached around 6,700 tons, an increase by 12% compared to the same period of last year.
