Muscat International Airport reported a 17 % increase in passenger traffic year-on-year during the first 11 months of 2012.
The figures showed that 6.898 million passed through the airport in the January-November period, up from 5.901 million a year earlier.
Both arrivals and departures increased by 17%, latest figures showed.
The airport also registered a 15% increase in cargo traffic to a total of 103,155 tons in the January-November period, compared to 89,825 tons in the same period in 2011.
