King Fahd International Airport transports 8.5 million passengers in 2014

The number of passengers at King Fahd International Airport reached 8.5 million passengers in 2014, an increase of 12% compared to 2013. Moreover, aircraft movements at the airport rose by 8.8% in 2014 compared to 2013. At the freight level, the airport handled more than 120 thousand tons.
These figures were highlighted in the airport’s annual figures for 2014. Figures also indicated that there 36 airlines operating to and from the airport, serving 65 domestic and international destinations.

بلغ عدد المسافرين عبر مطار الملك فهد الدولي في الدمام 8.5 مليون مسافر في 2014 بزيادة قدرها 12 بالمئة عن العام 2013. وسجلت حركة الرحلات الجوية ارتفاعاً يقدر بنسبة 8.8 بالمئة مقارنة بالعام 2013. كما تجاوز حجم الشحن الجوي لعام 2014 أكثر من 120 ألف طن.
جاء ذلك في البيانات الإحصائية السنوية للحركة الجوية لمطار الملك فهد الدولي بالدمام للعام 2014، وأشارت البيانات إلى وجود 36 شركة طيران تعمل بالمطار تخدم 65 وجهة محلية ودولية.
