Air traffic at Moroccan airports recorded an increase of 5.33% in September 2016.
As per a report by Moroccan Airports Authority, the number of passengers in September 2016 recorded 1,726,757 passengers compared to 1,639,304 passengers in September 2015.
The same source said that the Mohammed V International Airport - Casablanca contributed to a share of 49.19% of the total air traffic recorded in the ninth month of 2016, with a total of 849,397 passengers.
Marrakech Menara Airport comes next with a share of 19.02%, followed by Agadir Airport with 6.95% share; while the contribution of the remaining airports of the Kingdom's is below 5%.
