Abu Dhabi International Airport achieves record passenger figures in July 2015

July was a record breaking month for passenger figures at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Not only did the total number of passengers traveling through the airport hit the two million mark for the first time ever, but the figure for the departing passengers alone also reached a record, with over a million travelers leaving from Abu Dhabi International Airport.
A total of 2,100,929 passengers used the airport in July, compared with 1,703,995 in the same month of 2014, an increase of 23.3%, taking the average daily number of passengers to over 60,000. Within these numbers, 1,113,108 passengers departed from Abu Dhabi International Airport in July, also the first time this has happened in a single month.
Aircraft movements reached 15,059, representing a 14.2% increase over the 13,188 movements reported in July 2014. Cargo activity was also on the rise in July 2015, recording 68,888 metric tons handled; a 2.1% increase when compared to July 2014. Etihad cargo which represents 91.5% of the airport total cargo grew by 3%.
In July 2015, the top five routes from Abu Dhabi International Airport were London Heathrow, Bangkok, Doha, Manila, and Bombay, accounting for 16% of all traffic.

مطار أبوظبي الدولي يحقق نمواً قياسياً خلال شهر يوليو 2015

حقق مطار أبوظبي الدولي نمواً قياسياً في أعداد المسافرين خلال شهر يوليو من العام 2015 بزيادة بلغت 23.3 بالمئة، حيث ارتفع اجمالي عدد العابرين الى أكثر من مليونين خلال شهر واحد ولأول مرة في تاريخ المطار، ووصل عدد المغادرين منهم الى أكثر من مليون مغادر محققاً بذلك رقماً قياسياً جديد.
يشار الى أن إجمالي عدد العابرين من مطار أبوظبي الدولي ارتفع إلى 2,100,929 مسافر، مقارنة بـ1,703,995 مسافر في نفس الشهر من عام 2014، مما ترتب عنه ارتفاع المعدل اليومي لعدد المسافرين لأكثر من 60 ألف. أما بالنسبة الى عدد المغادرين منهم فوصل الى 1,113,108 مغادر خلال شهر يوليو.
ومن جهة أخرى، ارتفعت حركة الطائرات خلال الشهر لتصل إلى 15,059، وهي زيادة بنسبة 14.2 بالمئة مقابل 13,188 حركة في يوليو 2014. وقد سجل حجم الشحن ارتفاعاً ليصل إلى 68,888 طناً، وهو زيادة بنسبة 2.1 بالمئة مقارنة بيوليو من العام 2014. أما بالنسبة لمعدل حجم الشحن لطيران الإتحاد والذي يمثل 91.5 بالمئة من معدل حجم الشحن الكلي للمطار، فسجل زيادة قدرها 3 بالمئة.
وفي يوليو 2015، صنف كل من مطار هيثرو-لندن، وبانكوك، والدوحة، ومانيلا وبومباي، كأكثر الوجهات استقطاباً للمسافرين من مطار أبوظبي الدولي، والتي تمثل 16 بالمئة من إجمالي عدد المسافرين في المطار.
