6.4 million passengers passed through Dubai International in January 2014

Dubai International started the New Year with record monthly traffic, exceeding 6.4 million passengers in January.
According to the traffic report issued by operator Dubai Airports, passenger traffic reached 6,400,706 in January 2014, up 15.1% from 5,559,760 recorded during the same month in 2013. The bumper traffic was boosted by the seasonal rush of holidaymakers into Dubai, as well as the recently concluded Dubai Shopping Festival, which attracts travellers from all around the world, particularly from the region.
Aircraft movements totalled 32,625 during the month under review compared to 31,332 movements recorded in January 2013, up 4.1%. Freight volumes in January 2014 totalled 197,021 tonnes an increase of 4.5% compared to 188,520 tonnes recorded in January 2013.

سجل مطار دبي الدولي أعلى رقم في تاريخه عن شهر واحد، بعد نمواً قياسياً بأعداد المسافرين وعدد الرحلات والشحن خلال شهر يناير 2014. ووفقاً للإحصاءات الصادرة عن مؤسسة مطارات دبي، سجلت حركة المسافرين عبر المطار 6,400,706 مسافراً في يناير الفائت بزيادة قدرها 15.1 بالمئة مقارنة بشهر يناير 2013 الذي بلغ فيه عدد المسافرين 5,559,760 مسافراً.
وعلى صعيد حركة الطائرات اظهرت الاحصاءات تعامل المطار مع 32,625 رحلة في يناير الفائت بزيادة نسبتها 4.1 بالمئة مقارنة مع 31,332 رحلة في الشهر المناظر من 2013. وعلى صعيد الشحن، سجل مطار دبي نمواً نسبته 4.5 بالمئة بحجم المناولة في يناير الفائت، حيث ارتفع حجم الشحن الى 197,021 طنا مقارنة مع 188,520 طناً في الشهر المناظر من العام 2013.
