Muscat International Airport has recorded a 19% increase in total passenger traffic, including transit passengers, to record 1.208 million passengers at the end of February 2012 compared to 1.15 million passengers during the same period of 2011, Department of Air Transport at Oman’s Ministry of Transportation and Communication reported.
In February 2012, the number of arriving passengers to Muscat International Airport recorded 622,576 with an increase of 19% compared to the same period last year that recorded 521,339 passengers. Moreover, the number of departing passengers from the airport reached 564,377 passengers with an increase by 18% compared to the same period of last year that recorded 478,144 passengers.
