Qatar, Niger sign open skies agreement

After a round of bilateral negotiations at Qatar Civil Aviation Authority headquarters in Doha, the Civil Aviation Authorities of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Niger initialed an Air Transport Agreement and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to open skies between the two countries, allowing national carriers to operate an unlimited number of passenger and cargo flights and exercise fifth-freedom rights to intermediate and beyond points.
This agreement brings the number of Air Transport Agreements signed with African States to a total of 47 agreements among the 54 countries in the African continent.

قطر والنيجر توقعان اتفاقية لفتح الأجواء

أفضت المباحثات الثنائية التي عقدت في مقر الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني في الدوحة، بين سلطتي الطيران المدني في كل من دولة قطر وجمهورية النيجر، إلى التوقيع على اتفاقية بالأحرف الأولى في مجال النقل الجوي ومذكرة تفاهم لفتح الأجواء بين البلدين بحيث تسمح للناقلات الوطنية بتشغيل أي عدد من رحلات الركاب والشحن وبكامل حقوق النقل بما فيها الحرية الخامسة والى أي نقاط وسطية أو نقاط ما وراء.
وبذلك يصل عدد اتفاقيات النقل الجوي التي تربط دولة قطر بدول القارة الأفريقية إلى 47 اتفاقية من إجمالي عدد دول القارة الإفريقية البالغة 54 دولة.
