Qatar and Indonesia agree to increase passenger and cargo flights

The Civil aviation authorities in the State of Qatar and Indonesia have agreed to increase the number of flights between Doha and Indonesian cities. A press release of by Civil Aviation Authority said that the agreement came after bilateral talks in the field of air transportation between the two countries held recently in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta. The statement pointed out that the two-day talks resulted in agreement to add 7 more flights between Qatar and Indonesia where Qatar Airways can decide to operate these additional flights to Jakarta or to Bali from 21 to 28 flights a week, and additional flights between Doha and Bali from 14 to 21 flights a week, that in support of the plans and requirements of Qatar Airways' expansion and growth in its operations of its destinations network.
The two sides also agreed on seven flights to the city of Surabaya, Indonesia's second-most important city, which Qatar Airways plans to have flights to in the near future. With regard to cargo flights, the two sides agreed to increase their number to become 14 flights per week.
Qatar's delegation in the talks was headed by HE Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority Abdullah Nasser Turki al-Subaie, while on Indonesian side was headed by the Director General of Civil Aviation Suprasetyo.

قطر وإندونيسيا تتفقان على زيادة عدد رحلات الركاب والشحن

عقدت سلطات الطيران المدني في كل من دولة قطر وجمهورية اندونيسيا مباحثات ثنائية في مجال النقل الجوي وذلك في العاصمة الاندونيسية جاكارتا، أفضت الى زيادة 7 رحلات أسبوعية بين البلدين بحيث يمكن أن تسير الخطوط الجوية القطرية هذه الرحلات الإضافية بين الدوحة وجاكارتا ليرتفع بذلك عدد الرحلات من 21 الى 28 رحلة اسبوعياً، أو إضافة هذه الرحلات الى وجهة بالي السياحية ليصبح عدد الرحلات 21 بدلاً عن 14 رحلة اسبوعياً، ويأتي ذلك دعماً لخطط و متطلبات الخطوط الجوية القطرية للتوسع والنمو في عملياتها التشغيلية وشبكة وجهاتها.
كما استطاع الطرفان خلال المفاوضات التي استمرت يومين، الحصول على سبع رحلات الى مدينة سورابايا التي تعتبر احدى ثاني أهم المدن في اندونيسيا والتي تنوي الخطوط الجويه القطرية تسيير رحلاتها اليها في المستقبل القريب. وفيما يخص رحلات الشحن فقد توصل الطرفان لزيادة عددها لتصبح ١٤ رحله في الاسبوع.
وقد ترأس وفد دولة قطر الى العاصمة الاندونيسية سعادة السيد عبدالله بن ناصر السبيعي رئيس الهيئه العامه للطيران المدني، كما ترأس المفاوضات عن الجانب الاندونيسي سعادة السيد سوبراسيتيو مدير عام الطيران المدني في جمهورية اندونيسيا.
