Bahrain and Czech Republic sign open skies agreement

The Kingdom of Bahrain and the Czech Republic signed a model aviation agreement at the Bahrain International Air Show 2014.

With the agreement being signed the sky is now open to Czech carriers to operate to Bahrain without any restrictions, Mr. Ahmed Nemat Ali, the Assistant Undersecretary, Civil Aviation Affairs Directorate, said. “The warmth of relations between the two nations has resulted in the signing that will open up Bahrain and Czech skies to the carriers of both nations. Traffic rights are open to both nations” he added.

Mr. Jaromir Stolc, the Director of Czech Civil Aviation Department, said that with the signing, both Czech Airlines and Travel Service Airlines can now operate to Bahrain. Airline operations between both countries are expected to start by the first quarter of 2015, he added.

البحرين والتشيك يوقعان اتفاقية الاجواء المفتوحة لتحرير النقل الجوي بين البلدين

وقعت مملكة البحرين خلال معرض البحرين الدولي الثالث للطيران اتفاقية الأجواء المفتوحة لتحرير النقل الجوي مع جمهورية التشيك.
وأكد السيد أحمد النعمة، القائم بأعمال وكيل شؤون الطيران المدني بوزارة المواصلات أن هذا الاتفاق سيمنح شركات الطيران في كلا البلدين الصديقين حرية العمل بلا قيود، قائلاً إن حقوق النقل الجوي أصبحت مفتوحة بين البلدين.
ومن جانبه، ذكر السيد يارومير ستوك، مدير إدارة الطيران المدني في جمهورية التشيك أن اتفاق الأجواء المفتوحة سيمكن شركة الخطوط الجوية التشيكية وآسا لخدمات السفر من التشغيل إلى البحرين. وأضاف أنه من المتوقع أن تباشر شركات الطيران رحلاتها بين البلدين في الربع الأول من عام 2015.
