Qatar Airways has added two additional flights between its hub in Doha and Amman, bringing the total number of services to Jordan to nine weekly flights.
Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer H.E. Akbar Al Baker said the extra capacity would be a great boost as it would improve connections from Amman to around 100 cities across the airline’s global network, offering passengers more choice with further convenience and flexibility to their travel plans.
Qatar Airways began operations to Amman in May 1994. The Doha - Amman route is operated by an Airbus A320, featuring 12 seats in First Class and up to 132 seats in Economy.
Over the next few months, the network will expand with the addition of further destinations – Sulaymaniyah, Iraq (August 20), Chengdu, China (September 3), Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (September 18), Clark International Airport, Philippines (October 27) and Philadelphia, USA (2 April 2014).
