Building on the remarkable success of the direct flights from Alexandria, Assyut and Sohag to Jeddah and Kuwait, Air Cairo will operate direct flights from Alexandria and Assyut to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, starting 25 March 2013.
On this occasion, Mr. Yasser El Ramly, Chairman and CEO of Air Cairo stated that: "With the operation to Riyadh we will have 45 scheduled weekly flights, whereby Air Cairo operates 4 weekly flights from Alexandria to Kuwait, and 5 weekly flights to Jeddah, and 5 direct weekly flights from Sohaj International Airport to Kuwait, in addition to 8 direct weekly flights from Assyut Airport to each of Kuwait, Jeddah and Riyadh”.
