AACO is pleased to announce that it will be supporting Aviation Carbon 2012. The event will take place at the Marriott Heathrow Hotel, London, United Kingdom on 08-09 February 2012.
Airlines formally join the EU ETS on 1 January and will soon start receiving their free allowances from the regulator. They will need to consider registries, accounting, auctions and carbon markets, and to design a carbon trading strategy that can mitigate financial and legal risks.
Promising new insights into carbon trading, Aviation Carbon 2012 will include presentations, workshops and discussion panels presented by experts covering everything an airline needs to know. It will be the forum where they meet carbon suppliers and traders to discuss EU ETS carbon purchasing options and plan their trading strategy.
Attending Aviation Carbon 2012 will be of vital importance to the financial, treasury, environmental, legal, procurement, operations, planning and fuel management teams of all airlines joining the EU ETS.

Please note that airlines from countries defined as low income or lower-middle-income countries by the World Bank (which includes Egypt, Sudan, Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Morocco) can register one delegate free of charge (second delegate at 250€). The 20% discount does not apply to the airlines from these countries.
